“Because of Involve I started following my passion”

Iris van de Kerkhof joined Involve in 2018. As part of our 30th anniversary celebration, she reflects on her years working at Involve:  

“Whenever I think about Involve, I think about the team. 

All wonderful, warm – but also ambitious and driven – people. Each and every one with a passion for the profession. And that is reflected in the results. Professionalism is typical Involve for me.

Involve was my first step to becoming a psychologist. I went from external communication to internal communication. My passion for psychology was further nurtured and confirmed at Involve. By working on Subconsious Impact, for instance.  

Eventually, through Involve, I made the decision to follow my own passion and study psychology full-time. Something I was previously doing alongside my work.  

An important lesson I learned at Involve that I still apply in my work on a daily basis is: don’t push but pull. Not an unimportant skill for a psychologist.”
