Leadership programme Change made Real helps leaders and leadership teams in your organisation to take ownership of their roles in driving change. The programme is not only about individual growth but also about strengthening collective leadership: leading change together. Through Change made Real, leaders work on alignment and build mutual commitment. They learn to connect with their people on a more personal level, with more impact. And they develop the skills needed to truly move a team or organisation forward.

All while also creating a sense of connection and a safe space to experiment and learn. Leaders often find this extremely challenging, no matter the level of the organisation they are at. That’s why successful change sometimes depends on supporting leaders through it.
Change made Real is a unique leadership programme specifically designed to empower leaders to lead change.
Many leadership programs are aimed at developing generic, individual skills. Change made Real is embedded in a concrete change process and helps your leaders step into the specific role they play in that process. The programme is designed for leadership teams – groups of leaders who are collectively responsible for driving the change. For example, the top-20 of the organisation or team leads of a specific business unit. Because ‘Change leadership’ is not just about individual capabilities, but also about the power of collective leadership.
The programme focuses on four key conditions for effective leadership which are essential at every stage of a change process.
The programme launches with an intense multi-day kick-off, during which the group works on each of the four conditions. This phase also lays the foundation for a strong team spirit, as well as a shared language and understanding of the change process – elements that the rest of the programme continues to build on.
After the kick-off, the programme continues with periodic zoom-out sessions. In these sessions, the leadership team takes a step back to look at the bigger picture and reflects on questions, such as: Where are we in the change process right now? Are we making the progress we need? Are we successfully bringing our teams along? What challenges are we currently facing? What support do we need? And also: What is the narrative we share with our teams in the upcoming period?
During these zoom-out sessions, there is also space for specific support that is needed at the moment. Sometimes through classic peer-to-peer coaching, sometimes through external training or external inspiration, and sometimes through serious gaming. For that, we regularly work with our partners, such as Subconscious Impact, Eagle’s Flight, Incontext en What Makes You Tick. If there is already a leadership development programme in place within the organisation, we can certainly make use of that as well.
The benefit of this approach is that the group dynamic accelerates leadership development: it becomes a team process. Because the programme is embedded in a current change process, leaders have an intrinsic motivation to develop further. That is not only a plus for the current change, but it is also an investment in agility for future developments.
