Involve 2024: a year full of change and growth

Involve 2024: a year full of change and growth; in line with our jubilee motto ‘In our nature’.  We welcomed new colleagues and said goodbye to others. However, our foundation remained; for 30 years already, we strive to use our expertise to support organizations in change and communication. And this year was no exception to that!

Here are some of our highlights, in which we stayed true to our promise:

Change communication in action

• January: Start of the podcast Eerlijk gezegd  (‘Honestly spoken’, podcast in Dutch), in which our founder  Ilse van Ravenstein elaborates on using intuition versus well-considered thought-systems. How do we as Involve see the role of (communication) people in this, and how do we deal with questions and issues around this?
• February: Publication of the  blog Doe normaal tegen elkaar (‘Stop misbehaving’) by Managing Partner Michiel van Delden on Management Site, and on our own website; a plea for a broader view on transgressive behaviour.
• March: Publication of an in-depth article: Three learnings for EPR implementation: How to get the medical professionals on board?
• April: The kick-off of our jubilee year by an inspiring (dutch) kick-off  interview with our founder
• May: Guest lecture at the UvA (dutch article), in which we shared our knowledge with the next generation of leader consultants. And in November, our colleague  Hilde de Jong hosted another lecture at the UvA.
• June: Publication of the Whitepaper Verandercommunicatie, hoe krijg je een organisatie in beweging (‘Change communication: How do you set an organization in motion’, in Dutch), in which we as Involve share a compilation of our expertise and knowledge from the past 30 years.

Leadership and lasting change

• July: Masterclass Change Readiness (in Dutch), in which Anneke Veenendaal gave an insight into six elements to help you sail smoothly through a change.
• August: Four Involves share short and to-the-point advise about reorganizations and mergers (in Dutch).
• September: Launch of our podcast Change Made Real (podcast in Dutch), in which we, together with Jakob van Wielink (School voor Transitie), examined a leader’s emotional discomfort (during change).
• October: An in-depth interview with Rob Steijn (Stream Estate) , about ‘Breaking out of the short-term thinking dynamic in the construction and real estate industry’ (in Dutch). And, next to that, the introduction of our Change management training for project- and program managers.
• November: Love the Surprise Party! (in Dutch) Our content-driven jubilee event, to inspire a room full of people with insights about leadership in times of change.
• December: Launch of our new Change Made Real (in Dutch).

In 2024, we helped over 45 clients in their change and communication challenges. But besides looking back, we also like to look ahead.

Looking ahead: 2025

n 2025, we stay close to our nature as well! For example, with our collaboration with  Utrechts Landschap. It will remain a surprise for now what this collaboration entails exactly, we will share more about this soon.

With our expertise and committed and pragmatic approach, we continue to strive for lasting, sustainable change. And to support our clients in navigating their current and future challenges.
